Cases for Handhelds & Clamshells
Nutshell® reinforced and insulated carry cases for handheld clamshell computers are manufactured specifically to contain the computers they hold.
At Nutshell, we grouped the ever increasing range of clamshell handheld computers into a variety of common sizes, and then we developed a series of leather carry cases that best provide a perfect fit.
The cases are minimalist by deliberate design.
They contain flat pockets inside the lid to hold papers, or cables and other lightweight "stuff" that the user is likely to want to carry with the computer.
Depending on the LxWxD that best fits your own layout needs, they may perfectly carry power packs, GPS Receivers, scanners, cameras...and all those other vital peripherals.
Nutshell® uses a triple layer method to construct its handheld carry cases.
The outside is genuine natural leather, closed by one of the world's most reliable zippers.
The inside is two sheets of tough polypropylene, top and bottom. Sandwiched between each sheet and the outer leather covering is a layer of HiProtec (tm), a closed cell foam material backed by a skin of 1000 denier super reflective silver cloth.
The outer layer provides good looking, long lasting protection for the carry case. The inner sheet protects against knocks and bumps to keep the computer safe and sound.
The sandwiched layer of HiProtec (tm) provides even more protection, and acts as a thermal barrier, to keep the computer at a constant temperature, no matter what the climate outside.
A Nutshell® handheld carry case will keep your handheld or sub-notebook computer safe in even the most punishing climatic conditions;
They shrug off the high temperatures found inside a closed sun-baked auto and prevent your computer from frying.
They safeguard their contents from the damaging effects of high humidity.
If that is not enough, every Nutshell® handheld carry case has a layer of special non-slip material sewn onto the base - to stop the case slipping and sliding around during travel. Perfect for airplane trays, auto seats or even laps!
